Greek Bilingual Bookshop

Phil Kafcaloudes' book Someone else's war has now been translated into Greek and published. Phil will present the new Greek version at the Greek Bilingual Bookshop, 837 New Canterbury Rd, Dulwich Hill on Friday 12th April at 6.30pm. All welcome to attend. Free entry. Food and drinks from the FROM THE VAULT CAFE and wine will be available for purchase. The story line in Ο Πόλεμος της Όλγας is based on fact about Phil's grandmother and her role as part of the Greek Resistance Movement. Phil Kafcaloudes is an ABC Radio Journalist and an author who has visited the Book Club before last year with the english version of the book. He also recently spoke about his book and the heroine at the Symposium organised by the Hellenic Women's Lyceum to honour Greek women. Both the Greek version and the original book in English will be available on the day. If you would like to meet Phil Kafcaloudes, who will be coming up from Melbourne for the launch, come along. There will also be the opportunity to have a book signed.
